Hi,

I know that the problem is from fribidi (a known bug fixed in 
0.10.x), so please recompile with 0.10.1.

And about the akka code and EVERY other program that uses fribidi
0.9.x, you do not need to change it to work with 0.10.1, please
put this line before #include <fribidi/fribidi.h>, it makes the 
application to work with later versions too:

#define FRIBIDI_INTERFACE_1


And if you work with 0.10.x, put a line containing:

#define FRIBIDI_INTERFACE_2

this line puts fribidi in compatibility mode, as the interface 
will be quite different with next version (1.0.0).
