Hi Guys:
I was wondering if anyone has been successful in using GIMP to create
logos using arabic fonts? I can select the ttf arabic fonts in GIMP;
however, I do not know how to type the arabic. I assume my keyboard
mapping and my GNOME2.0 environment play a very significant role in
this. I therefore, went to http://www.aljazeera.net/ and copied an
arabic character to the clipboard, but all I get is ? when I inserted in
GIMP.
