Re: promotion for linux in arabia (preliminary thoughts)

About promotion, I can make a suggestion:

I am already in contact with a Jordan-based website http://www.schoolarabia.net/ . It is an online school aimed to students from primary to secondary school. It proposes free courses in different subjects and is supposed to be an aid in studies.
They propose a section on computer but I find it for myself a bit poor: mainly MS products. Check http://www.schoolarabia.net/thaqafet_hasoub/index.htm . I suggest that we (ArabEyes) write some articles for them about Linux (whats is linux, how to get it, installation, configuration) and about arabic support in Linux. Unfortunately, I can't in the immediate future be in charge of such a task since I am already writing the astronomy course for them. But if there are volounteers I can write to them on behalf of ArabEyes.
It is a valuable website (I don't know others in the arab world) that start to have a fine audience. And if we admit that in 2-3 years high school students will become university students and in 5-10 years primary school students will become also university students, so the investement is worth it !

about what Linux is and so .. What Arabeyes 'can do'/'had been doing' is to
provide comprehensive document/pages about Arabic support on Linux.. it is
Still in development stage, and it need to be translated to Arabic and maybe
Frensh (the Other second langauge in Arab countries beside English)

I can translate this document to french :) (and other documents). Please tell me the priority (which doc must be translated first) and i'll do it.
