anyway I have found another problem , the kde3 doesn't show the arabic think
beucase I have Xfree86 3  :(  .
I am downloading Xfree 4.2 right now :) .


do you know if I can  read/write arabic in ascii files (txt,html) ?

or do I have to write in UTF-8 ?

This is because your desktop manager (xdm,gdm,kdm) does not know about
KDE3 yet. Which one are you using?

Any Mandrake users want to give quick hints?
