I am happy to inform you that there is a new Arabic team for ubuntu (its aim is to unify the ubuntu Arabic teams: Tunisia, Jordan, Marrocan...teams), our wiki is http://wiki.ubuntu-arabic.org/

there you can participate in the Arabisation of ubuntu
there is also this team http://www.linuxac.org/ that is doing now the translation of ubuntu guide http://ubuntuguide.org/
