English-Arabic Wordlist

Please note that I've started a "complete" wordlist file which encompasses
a list of ___general___ English -> Arabic terms/words (its saved in .po
format for you hardcore translators with instructions in the header to
attain an equality list). The file is envisioned to become the first
open-source English-Arabic wordlist file to be used for any and all
open-source translation efforts (there are lots of "dictionaries" out
there that don't have Arabic support - we'll try to change all that
soon enough :-)

Yet another first that Arabeyes, in its drive to attain excellence and
make a difference, has undertaken :-)

  http://www.arabeyes.org/cvsweb/translate/misc/full_wordlist.po

The file is not complete in two respects,

 1. The wordlist file might be missing relevant English terms (if so,
please add whatever terms you might feel were excluded at the
appropriate places within the file -- its listed alphabetically).
Make sure that the english terms you're introducing are spelled
correctly and are listed in a proper english dictionary somewhere.
Use any good online English dictionary (http://www.m-w.com) if
    need be.

 2. The wordlist file at its current state is not fully translated.

Translated terms (done)	= 67,023 [ie. approx 75.8% done]
Untranslated terms (todo)	= 21,451 [ie. approx 24.2% left]
     ---------------------------+++++++++++-----------------------
Total number of terms	= 88,474

As you can see a great deal of it has already been completed, but
100% completion is obviously what we are after. Some of the terms
noted are not very easy to comprehend and will require some looking
up (online, friends, family, professionals (doctors, engineers, etc)).

Do keep in mind that this wordlist is not strictly composed of technical
terms (unlike the current KDE/Gnome effort). The wordlist is full of
general words that most people ought to know and comprehend (its also a
great way to expand your vocabulary :-)

NOTE: This email and the mention of the wordlist is NOT meant
to distract anyone from their current work on KDE/Gnome
or whatever else was agreed-upon. The intent here is to
give those that dislike very technical translations an
option to jump-in, help and make a difference.

Lastly, its always helpful to go through the file and make whatever
corrections/modifications necessary -- all help would be appreciated.

Best Regards & Salam to all.

 - Nadim
