Well Manasa is fine .. but you can find a word that is more close to the 
reader .. maybe :

Wasat وسط
Be2a بيئة

Lets consider taking what the word imply not what it means in the dictionary 
.. you know the dictionary is not always the answer specialy that the 
technical language did overload existing words to give them new meanings (see 
the word Proxy, server, daemon, etc.. )
