Yes ;)

Actually what would be ideal is if you use the LyX HOWTO as a basis, and
expand that to encompass TeX in general and LyX in specific. In other
words, expand the current LyX HOWTO to be more generic but without
undermining the information on installing LyX.

Of course if it's also in TeX format it can easily be converted to html
and that would make life easier ;)
