Ah, that could have come in handy when I initially emailed Basma Alwesh (the
one who is apparently the person to contact about the IBM announcement --
which was back in October I understand). They even demoed this in the Gitex
2001 show. So, this has been going on for awhile, and we had no idea -- very
bad. We need to be able to know those kinds of things before they even happen.
We need to expand our network and try to get some of the people in IBM
personally interested in us.

I have emailed Basma asking her about what we can do, and pretty much said,
where do we stand in this, as we have ignored. It seems to me now that when
they say 'groups' they are not really talking about projects like ours, but
more like well established major companies. I see Sakhr as one of the groups,
as Gulf Business Machines (but that's just a branch of IBM really -- I guess
they have some kind of their own entity).

Let me see if I can find that message and Fwd: it to the 'core' list.
